Travelling vaccinations
If you require vaccinations for foreign travel, please book a double face-to-face appointment with the Practice Nurse. During the appointment, your travel plans will be discussed and your medical records reviewed to determine which vaccinations and travel health advice are required.
Please provide details of all countries you will be visiting, including specific regions or areas within those countries, as vaccination requirements may vary by location. To help make the most of your appointment, we recommend completing the travel questionnaire below beforehand. Travel consultations are comprehensive and may take some time to complete, so having this information available in advance will assist the nurse in assessing your travel health needs.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required via the link below
It is important to make this appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
