Below you will find the list of our latest news and articles.
Due to increasing demand for appointments and to ensure that all patients are seen by the most appropriate person for their condition we have altered our doctor’s appointment system slightly from the start of 2018.
We continue to have ‘routine’ appointments with all GPs bookable by phone, in person or on-line up to 6 weeks in advance.
There are also appointments bookable with GPEA 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. This service is located on the ground floor of the main entrance building in the yellow zone at Lewisham Hospital. These appointments can be booked via the surgery.
We have a number of ‘urgent’ appointment slots available each morning. If you feel you require an ‘urgent’ appointment you will need to telephone the surgery that morning and a receptionist will ask you the reason for the appointment. The GPs have asked the receptionists to ask for this information as it may be that attending a face to face GP urgent appointment may not be the quickest & most appropriate action. You may be advised to attend ‘pharmacy first’ http://www.lewishamccg.nhs.uk/your-health/Pages/Pharmacy-First.aspx or be booked for a telephone consultation with a GP.
We continue to have a duty doctor available for acute medical advice all day.
